About us
Products from JSC "Mazeikiu Mesine" are known since the end of 1990. The company was then registered as JSC "Mazeikiu Dobilas". A small meat producing manufactory was capable of processing only 1.5 to 2 tons of meat per shift; the products were sold on the local market. In 1998, implementation of the quality control system HACCP (Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points) was started at the company. In 2001, JSC "Mazeikiu Mesine" was one of the first companies in Lithuania which was the State Food and Veterinary Service of the Republic of Lithuania issued a permission to by allowing export fresh meat and meat products to the European Union countries and was one of the first companies which on the same year started to export products to the European Union countries: Ireland, England, Germany, Spain as well as Latvia and Estonia. In 2008, a project designed to expand and modernize the production was implemented. The project was financed by EU's support funds for rural development. In the course of the project, production premises were expanded, new meat processing (CFS CutMaster V325), vacuuming and packing equipment (VF-620 HANDTMANN, etc.) was acquired, modern smoking chambers were equipped. Today, the company operates on a two-shift basis and is capable of producing 18 to 20 tons of products per day. The company supplies meat and meat products to over 3,500 clients on the Lithuanian and foreign markets, including supermarkets, restaurant and hotel networks, state institutions, etc. Quality - one of the key aspects of the company's performance A Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points (HACCP) system has been operating at the company since 1998. In addition, a complex production accounting program was implemented in 2008; the program allows eliminating low-quality products in the course of production as the equipment and technological processes are controlled by a computer system. The new technology is one of the most important steps to ensure maximum quality of products.
